In order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding your booking, please note the following terms and conditions for our Spit Roasting and Barbeque service.

Payment - The outstanding balance will be due fourteen days prior to the event and we have the right to cancel the booking if the full amount is not forthcoming at this date.

Cancellations - Two weeks notice of cancellation is required. If the booking is cancelled and you have not given us at least 2 weeks notice prior to your event date. You will be liable for the full outstanding amount.

Final Details - Final numbers and special instructions need to be confirmed seven days prior to the event. This will include guest numbers, serving times, and choice of salads and accompliments if needed.

Force Majeure - We cannot accept liability or pay compensation where the "performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by circumstances amounting to force majeure". Such events may include but are not limited to war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity, wet or windy weather conditions, fire or any events outside our control, including hire customers not returning equipment or equipment being damaged, lost or stolen, which is advanced booked to other hire customers.

You are liable for any damage by misuse and/or theft while the equipment is in your possession. We recommend that you ensure that you have adequate insurance protection for the equipment to the value of £4,000.

The client is forbidden from sub-hiring the machine or equipment and takes full responsibility for the security and safety of the machine while it is in their care.

Never leave the spit roaster while it is switched on. It must be supervised at all times. Children must be kept away from the equipment during cooking at all times.
All surfaces on the machine become extremely hot. We accept no responsibility for any injury to persons or damage to property incurred while hiring or otherwise using or handling equipment, however caused.

We will deliver the machine with carcass ( if this is the option you choose) ready for cooking and will ensure that the carcass rotates without snagging on the burners. However, it is your responsibility to frequently check the meat during cooking and check that the bolts on the spit that carries the carcass remain tight and secure.

It is the clients' responsibility to ensure all food is suitable for consumption and cooked to a safe temperature. We take no responsibility for any food supplied and or cooked by the client or anybody associated with the client.
